When you are thinking of selling a house you have a variety of ways that best suit you to be efficient and get the job done. Although, there are many pros and cons if you want to sell a house yourself vs with a Realtor. Selling a home may be exciting but also stressful due to many factors. This is a huge step in a person’s life.

The benefits of selling with a realtor is the exposure. When working with a realtor they are allowed to market homes on MLS while homes sold independently will not be able to use multiple listing services. Usually, the first place realtors go when looking to show homes to prospective buyers is MLS. Realtors also have past clients which can give great referrals! Selling yourself may be more difficult if you don’t know how or where to find potential buyers.

Having an expert with you while going through the process of selling your home is going to save you from all sorts of headaches. Realtors know the market extremely well. They are experts at listing your home and they know how to uphold multiple offers to get you the highest price. The insider knowledge of a realtor is extremely important, they are skilled in the housing market which can tell you what your house is truly worth.

Individuals who decide to sell their property on their own find it extremely difficult and sometimes give up 1-2 weeks in, this is due to the lack of marketing and not having experience in the real estate business. The liabilities that come with selling a house and the hassle to find potential buyers can be draining.

This is why using a  Real Estate agent will be more efficient for you and bring you the highest bidder possible.
